I received a phone call from a distraught lady who was left with an unfinished job. Her porch ceiling had collapsed due to a burst pipe in the upstairs bathroom, the asbestos ceiling however had been taken away but unfortunately the workmen did not return to finish the job and she didn’t know what to do.
Not sure what to expect I first visited the property to assess the situation. Thank fully on this occasion I was able to suggest a simple cost effect practical solution, UPVC cladding, long lasting, cheap and easily replaceable should access be required to bathroom pipes in the future.
Conscious of the cold weather I returned on the morning of Christmas Eve to complete the task. The completed job including labour and parts cost £75, yet another Cheap as Chips solution!👍
