I should have brought a Bobcat! 🤣

When one of my customers asked if I would help dig up and remove the turf so she could expand the driveway, I naturally agreed, I hadn’t actually done this before so it was a new experience, the area had been described to me as approximately thirty square metres.

Honestly this is hard work, I hadn’t realised just how hard, on day one I think I lasted about four hours before needing to call it a day, physically exhausted, well I am not getting any younger.

I had been explaining the job to another one of my customers who acknowledged how hard it was and suggested I should of hired mechanical equipment for the job and going forward I will be doing exactly that.

Day two went surprisingly well, the sun was shining, pedestrians walking by provided some interesting excuses for me to stop, rest and have a good old chin wag.

When I had finished the task I was speaking to the customer and she then admitted she hadn’t actually measured the area, it was more like a guesstimate, so I paced it out the old fashioned way and I would guesstimate that it was more like forty square metres.
